Art camp was separated by age this year.
This younger group had a rainy day, which was awesome. We broke out the rainy day box. We made balloon men (who always land on their feet!). Painted suncatchers and made creature feature puzzles. They had decorated quesadillas and fruit faces for lunch.
The older children (9 - 14 Years Old)
Got creative with an assortment of fruits, and of course whip cream. They made some interesting faces. They used dry erase boards to learn how to start the still life painting by answering questions about supplies and basic shapes.
Eight older students had their first experience painting a still life with acrylic paint.
They were completely absorbed with their project.
We also swam and did some wood burning.
